About Us

New England Firearms Academy offers a range of comprehensive firearm safety courses, including the Certified Massachusetts Basic Firearms Safety Course and the Utah Concealed Carry Permit Course. Steps To Get Your Firearms License

After completing our safety course, you'll be well on your way to obtaining a firearms license in Massachusetts. Here's a brief overview of the steps:

1. Complete a certified firearms safety course with us.

2. Fill out the application, then submit it at your local police department along with the certification we provide.

3. Ensure your application includes personal references, information about any past criminal convictions or history of domestic violence, mental illness, or drug/alcohol addiction, proof of completion of a Massachusetts state-certified firearms safety course, and the required fee.

4. Your application will be either approved or denied within sixty days. You can check the status of your application by contacting the appropriate department or the Department of Criminal Justice Information Services (DCJIS).
